Tim Burton is everywhere!!!
You always felt that only Tim Burton could do a Alice in Wonderland for the big screen. The only question was why did it take so long???
Click here to see the official trailer.
But this one caught us by surprise. Tim Burton in MoMA. Dun miss if you are in NYC!
Click here for the MoMA link to the exhibition and here to see and read about Tim's MoMA animation which was done to promote his show.

Bertrand Russell as a comic superhero?

A comic book starring and narrated by Bertrand Russell about a quest, spanning 60 years, for the foundations of mathematics. Ok, not exactly a screenplay filled with sex and violence waiting to be adapted for the Hollywood big screen but that is probably a good thing!
That's the basic premise of Logicomix, a new graphic novel only just published and it deals with a wide ranging variety of topics such madness, the institution of marriage, predicate calculus, tractatus logico-philosophicus (we don't know what that means too!) and many other serious sounding topics that will intimidate the bravest and most intellectual of us.
Fortunately for us here at Incognito, by account of the reviews, it is easily accessible, full of drama and vivid colours, witty and engaging and something that is breaking the boundaries of conventional graphic novels.
We are quite excited about this and will be writing more once we get our hands on a copy.

Fame Festival!
While we were busy having our party, our friends in Italy have been hard at work bringing us these amazing pieces of art and we just had to show our love back by making this post all about them!
This is the 2nd Fame Festival (we had the inglorious honor of missing the 1st one) beautifully and loving put together by Angelo and the nice people at studiocromie and from the pictures, we can't wait till the 3rd one.
Ladies and Gentlemen, quality art coming your way. All you need to do is just scroll down.
Pictures from the 1st Fame Festival.

Pictures from the 2nd Fame Festival.

We love Erica Il Cane's follow-up funeral piece on demise of the Rooster (from the first Fame Festival), Blu's mind-blowing work, those crazy plates by Dave Kinsey, amazing art by Sam3, Vhils and so many many more but most of all, we truly appreciate the personal stories behind the art.
Which brings me to say, "How can something so beautiful be a crime?"
Here is the link for the full story and pictures.
